well, i bought this bed about a month ago and it is everything i wanted. i didnt have an overwhelming amount of space to work with and i was looking for something simple and sleek (the incredibly affordable pricetag didn’t hurt either). this bed delivered on all counts. now i was a little nervous being a small 19 year old when i heard about the difficult assembly and heavy box but i set it all up on my own in about 45 min, and i’m confident you will too. in short, i would deffinitly recommend this bed.

would have given it a five – as it is comfortable with a futon mattress on it. . . only problem was trying to screw in the side panels on to the base – you really DO need 2 or 3 people to assemble this piece

The item is good, arrived in good condition! It takes some time to put it togheter wich is okay. . . It is hyper heavy!
The only thing is that it took forever to arrive, did not contact the seller. Can’t complain since I didn’t pay for the shipping . . .

This bed is very flimsy and a pain to put together. When you get the box you think “No way the whole bed can fit in that box. But it does, its just in multiple pieces. The design is crappy. the support boards are held together by a few plastic studs that seem to short. Even for a cheap product its design is crappy. But it looks nice once put together and as long as no one is jumping on it then it should be fine.

Anyone looking to purchase this bed is most likely looking to spend less and the cost is a main factor. As people are saying in the reviews you do get what you pay for. I specifically bought this bed because i wanted a flat even surface for my memory foam mattress. I don’t think cross beams or similar supports would work too well with a memory foam mattress.
Main complaint i have is that the measurements did not line up. I am a very meticulous person and everything needs to be just right. The bed is essentially 2 main portions. The base and the top flat level. The top flat part is in 4 pieces that need to be screwed into the base portion along the beams.
Only problem was that when the top portion was measured perfectly as instructed the pre-drilled holes did not match up. So basically what happened was i had to “wing it” and make sure all holes lined up okay. The end result is that the top flat portion is at a angle on the base. The bed is in a corner and you can tell the base is not completely perpendicular (90 degress) as you would expect. It is mostly noticeable to me i guess since i built it.
Overall expect the worse as i did and you may be pleasantly surprised. Assembling it was no fun and I usually don’t mind most projects. I don’t think this bed will do well if needed to take apart and move. You would have to pretty much take it completely apart and rebuild it again!
